Our automotive plant in Horb has won one of the German automobile industry’s most prestigious awards: the yearly Automotive Lean Production Award.

The award is offered by the German “Automobil-Produktion” magazine and by agamus consult. From over 100 contestants, fischer automotive won first place in the category “National SMBs". The award ceremony will take place during the 3rd Technical Congress Automotive Lean Production on 25 and 26 November 2008 in Stuttgart.

“I cordially congratulate all our people at Horb who have given their wholehearted commitment to achieve this truly excellent and outstanding result”, Klaus Fischer said after it became known. “This award shows that the way we took eight years ago with the continuous improvement of our processes and with the fischer ProcessSystem was the right way. We now harvest the rewards of our hard work which now also finds its outside recognition with the Lean Award.”
